The Taylor Rae Photography Experience
I understand. Booking a photographer for your wedding day is a huge commitment! You want to feel confident that your wedding photographer will not only deliver high-quality photos, but provide a high-quality experience as well. After all, your wedding day is one of the biggest days of your life!
I thought I would take the time to explain what it’s like when you book me as your wedding photographer. If you’ve read my previous blog posts, you know that I consider myself to be a luxury photographer. The word luxury doesn’t necessarily mean that my services will cost you an arm and a leg. To me, luxury means that your overall experience will match the investment. Being a luxury photographer sets a high standard, and my main goal with every single client is living up to that standard.
I want your photography experience to be effortless and enjoyable from start to finish. Planning a wedding is a ton of work! You deserve to be taken care of (and then some). To ensure that you have my full attention, I only book a limited number of weddings per season, that way I can fully invest in each of my couples. So, what’s it like to work with me? Here is the Taylor Rae experience, step by step:
After your very first email, I’ll send you a helpful brochure that clearly states everything you need to know about my wedding photography services.
From there, we’ll set up a facetime call at your convenience. I love to meet my couples face to face, and I find facetime much more personal than an email. Plus, it’s really important to me that you feel we are a good fit. We’re going to be spending a lot of time together throughout your wedding planning process and of course on your wedding day.
Once we figure out which custom collection is right for you, I’ll send over a clear and straightforward proposal. All of the documents can be reviewed and signed completely online, so we can take care of everything from the comfort of your own home.
After everything is signed and settled, I will mail a gorgeous 75-page wedding magazine that I’ve created especially for my clients. The magazine offers helpful tips and tricks when it comes to wedding planning. It also explains how to get the most out of your photography session. I know how stressful wedding planning can be, and I want to help my couples in any way that I can!
It’s important to me that we stay connected throughout your wedding planning process. I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera on your big day. I’ll be checking in periodically to make sure everything is running smoothly.
About 2 months before your wedding, I’ll send out a questionnaire that covers everything I need to know about your big day. I want to make sure I arrive completely prepared, so I’ll ask about your venue, your timeline, your preferences, and even a few get-to-know-you questions. Again, I want your day to be as effortless as possible, and the more I know the more helpful I can be!
It’s wedding day! I will show up to your venue ready to work and bursting with enthusiasm. I’ve been on this journey right along with you, so I am just as excited as you are! I love everything about photographing weddings, and having the opportunity to document such a significant day in your life is the reason I became a photographer. On your wedding day, I will be your cheerleader, dress adjuster, creative director, family wrangler, and most importantly, your nerve-calmer. You’ve got this, and I will be there for you in any way that I can.
Don’t worry, I totally understand how excited you are to see your wedding photos. Waiting is the hardest part! I promise I will post a few preview photos to hold you over until you receive your full gallery.
Within 6-8 weeks (usually sooner!) I’ll have your full wedding photo gallery ready to deliver. Again, everything is sent to you completely online and the process is super simple. All of the images are yours to keep, post, download or print.
Yes, there’s more! After you’ve reviewed your photos, and you’ve decided which images you want to print, you won’t have to stress about finding a proper printer. I offer professional printing services directly through your gallery (so easy!). I love when my couples print their photos. Your wedding photos deserve to be displayed in your home, and wedding day albums, which I absolutely love designing, are the perfect gift for your family members.
