A Lace House at Arsenal Hill Wedding | Amber + Tanner

Amber + Tanner said “I do” at the Lace House at Arsenal Hall last year. They were my last wedding of 2020, and I couldn’t think of a better way to wrap up the year! I met the two of them in February of 2019. They were in town for a wedding that I was photographing, and the bride suggested they do their engagement session with me while they were in town. I had so much fun getting to know them at their engagement session. Tanner was hilarious, and I loved seeing Amber’s sweet smile and giggles every time Tanner said something ridiculous. I knew as soon as I left their session that I wanted to photograph their wedding. I was so excited when they reached out to ask if I would be part of their wedding at the Lace House at Arsenal Hill!

Their wedding day was a gorgeous, sunny winter day in Columbia, SC. I had the dream team to work with, which is always fun! Antonia Scott Beauty had done Amber’s makeup for her bridal portraits, so I already knew that Amber was going to be absolutely stunning! And their planner, Meagan Warren, assured them that everything would be running so smoothly. Amber was all smiles on her wedding day, as she hung out with her bridesmaid and bridesman while getting ready. Tanner was his usual goofy self, and I loved his smile as he waited for his first look with his bride.

These two have the sweetest family and friends, and I loved getting to know all of them. I couldn’t have felt more welcome into their lives, and I love that I got to work with them at their engagement session, Amber’s bridal session, AND their wedding day!
